Hidden Grove Wedding and Bistro C Wedding photographer...

One beautiful Thursday in May, Eve and James got married at Hidden Grove, Noosa Beach. I'd been looking forward to this wedding very much since meeting the couple - I knew it was going to be one of those special occasions that would be fun from start to finish. These two were just made for each other and the whole day was about celebrating (and boy did they celebrate!) that fact with their friends and family, who mostly came up from Victoria to enjoy a perfect day here on the Sunshine Coast.

The celebrant was the lovely Natalie Banner, decorating by the ever attentive First Class Functions and an awesome reception at Bistro C (who do the best beef cheeks with beetroot and horseradish...yum yum..).
I simply have the best job in the world and also must have the best people to photograph - it was a privilige to be a part of this day and thanks must go to being made so welcome by a great bunch of people.

Congratulations to you both, may you have continued health and happiness x

These are a few images from their day, scroll down to watch the slideshow for the whole story...

Elopement Wedding Photographers, Sunshine Coast...

Had the real privilige of photographing Colleen & Shaun's elopement wedding down at Hidden Grove, Noosa a couple of weeks ago. It was just the two of them and their parents and a handful of friends in an intimate ceremony by celebrant Jacqueline Gray. Colleen's make-up and hair by Vicki Nellis.

Congratulations to the both of you and thank you for having me along on what was a beautiful Tuesday afternoon in Noosa...

Wedding Photography, Lake Currimundi, Sunshine Coast...

This is Kylie & Daren's backyard wedding - held at Lake Currimundi here on the Sunshine Coast in the back garden of Darren's parents beach house where they had spent many a summer holiday. It was an awesome day...and yes it did rain but the weather, as always, is just a minor part of the day. And in any case these two were so cool that it didn't, and never was, going to phase them - yeah they got wet, stood in the mud at the water's edge and they even climbed a tree!
I loved this wedding day and feel very honoured to have been a part of it.
Kylie & Darren - I wish you much continued health and happiness and thank you for having me there.
The wedding ceremony was by the beautiful Kari, flowers and decor by friends and family.

Engagement Photography shoot on the beach...

This is Hannah & Rami who are getting married in a few weeks at Solothurn Resort. We caught up a couple of weeks ago for their pre-wedding shoot and headed down to the beach and there's nothing more I like than two people very much in love...and beautiful light to photograph them in.
I'm looking forward to their wedding day, it will be very much a country affair full of happiness and love!

Maleny Manor and Maleny Hinterland wedding photography...

Rachael & Ryan's wedding day was full of beauty. There was Maleny Manor and the grounds looking awesome; the bridesmaids beautiful in blue, the ceremony by Natalie Banner even the appearance of an owl as a ring bearer, but top billing obviously goes to the couple themselves. Rachael looked amazing and yeah...even though I'm a bloke I have to say Ryan looked sharp too.
Make-up was by the amazing Natalie Hunter
The beautiful ceremony was conducted by celebrant Natalie Banner
Thanks for having me and my assistant Harry along for the day it was a real pleasure. We wish you much continued happiness and health for your future x

Noosa and Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographers...

Emily and Damian's wedding at Maison La Plage Noosa was a real head turner for many reasons. Firstly how stunning Emily looked and the bridesmaids with their bright red dresses looking gorgeous, secondly it was a beautiful Sunshine Coast day with blue skies, throw into that mix the blue ocean in the background and heaps of doves being released - many passers-by stopped to take it all in.
A first for me was being jostled for position down the 'aisle' by a beach going member of the public who boldly decided he'd have a few snaps for himself and took up position with his camera during the first kiss!
To Emily & Damian - it was a real pleasure to be a part of your day, thank you for having me along. I wish you health and happiness for the future x

Sunshine Coast, Noosa Wedding photography...

Amber & Cameron's Noosa wedding day was a day surrounded by their close friends and family with an abundance of pure love and joy. Amber's smile and laughter was infectious and I don't think it ever left her face as she married Cameron at Hidden Grove, Noosa Main Beach and it was very much the same throughout the bridal party shoot and reception. It was a real pleasure to be a part of their day...thanks to both of you for having me and congratulations, I know you'll have a wonderful life together!
The ceremony was by Noosa celebrant Jacqui Gray, transport by the fab Deluxe Kombi Service and make-up by the lovely Debbie from Beauty On The Move. I also want to thank the awesome people at the Noosa Boathouse Restaurant.

Tiffanys, Maleny | Sunshine Coast wedding photography...

Gen & Tom were married last month during a beautiful wedding day at Tiffany's in Maleny. There was alot of love in the air for Gen & Tom and it was easy to see why. It was an awesome day surrounded by their friends and family, some of who had travelled from half way round the world to be there.
There was also a strong Russian flavour to the evening with the couple partaking of a tradition of sharing bread and salt and also everytime the guests chanted 'gulka' (that's what it sounded like to me!), Gen & Tom had to kiss for as long as the chant went on - which they did not long after taking the bread and salt!

It was a real pleasure being part of their wedding and working with people such as the staff at Tiffany's and celebrant Bill Scurry. And I have to say a huge thank you to Trevor from Sunshine Coast Vintage Limousines for holding the umbrella over me while I was taking shots of the bridal party.
Congratulations Gen and Tom I wish you continued health and happiness...

One awesome engagement shoot / pre-wedding shoot...

I caught up with Kylie & Darren a couple of weeks ago for their pre-wedding shoot out somewhere on the road to Eumundi. The long grass was alot longer than it used to be due to the rain of late - but that didn't stop us going headlong into it and capturing some stunning images of these two. A fabulous couple who's wedding I'm really looking forward to in the very near future...

Noosa Beach Wedding photographers...

Christian & Alex came all the way from the South of France for their beautiful Noosa Main Beach wedding. The sky provided the most wonderful backdrop for this special occasion and it was a real pleasure to witness and capture these moments for them.

Congratulations to you both I wish you continued health and happiness.

The celebrant was Jacqueline Gray, make-up by Vicki Nellis and the beach decorating by First Class Functions.

These are some of my faves from the afternoon...

Pre-wedding Shoot | Noosa wedding photography...

There seems to be a theme with my last few blog posts - rain. When I caught up with Amber and Cameron for their pre-wedding shoot it was same same as far as the weather goes. But these two were pretty game for a bit of an adventure into the long grass and wetness...so off we went into the wilds near Peregian to one of my fave locations nearby.
I'm really looking forward to their wedding this Saturday on Noosa Main Beach and I'm not even going to mention the...

Noosa Beach Wedding Photographer gets wet....

One rainy Tuesday in February Tiffany and Todd got married in front of their close friends and family. A beautiful part of the ceremony was the pouring of coloured sands by the two of them and their children and they all made promises to each other. The wedding ceremony was undercover at Rickys in Gympie Terrace due to the...ahem...slight inclement weather. The celebrant was Ann Hills.

Neither the wet weather nor the gusty winds were going to deter us from heading onto the famouse Noosa Main Beach for bridal party photographs...oh no. And I'm so glad too, otherwise the shot above wouldn't have been made. Congratulations to all 4 of you and thank you for having there to capture your special day. These are some of my favourite shots from the day...

Maleny and Montville wedding photographers...

Really looking forward to these two's (is that a word?) wedding next week in Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
I caught up with them a few days ago for their pre-wedding shoot and we headed down to the beach, which was very windy and blew seaspray all over the lens - but I actually quite like the effect :)
Here's a selection of my faves...

Coolum Beach wedding photography...

There seemed to be a love triangle happening in Rick & Janelle's lives, they obviously love each other and their gorgeous son Kaiden, but they also share a love for old Land Rovers...yes Land Rovers. So for their wedding there were no guests, just the 3 of them and 2 Land Rovers! As for the wedding on Coolum First Bay it was a very windy day with the storm clouds rolling across the sky and the waves crashing against the rocks. But all that mattered for little as these two got married in a sheltered corner by Jacqui Clarke celebrant.
Congratulations to you both, below are some of my favourite moments from the afternoon...

Annabella Chapel Wedding photographer...

Just lately there's not been alot of golden sunsets to speak of during the week, or at least most evenings when I plan an engagement shoot or pre-wedding photography session. When I caught up with Emm & Jacob it was one such afternoon where there was just clouds and the light was fairly flat. However, this made for fabulous black and white images of these two, who are getting married...err tomorrow at Annabella Wedding Chapel.
I love the feel mono gives images and I think this is the first time I've posted all black and white photos.

Sunshine Coast Wedding Engagement Photographer...

I caught up with Rachael & Ryan for their pre-wedding shoot a few days ago. We headed down to Point Arkright on a perfect afternoon - plenty of sunshine and some beatiful clouds offshore. They're getting married at Maleny Manor in April on what will be another perfect day.

Maleny Montville Wedding Photography...

This is a small selection from Summer and Greg's momentous Sunshine Coast Hinterland wedding on New Years Eve (well, to be exact 5% of the edited images - if my maths is correct!). I had an incredible 2012, having the honour (and it always is an honour) to be a part of so many cool and amazing weddings. From the intimate elopements with me as a witness, to the weddings with family and friends. All equally important and special.
Summer & Greg's was an amazing way to end the year, they got married at one of my favourite venues in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland -
Flaxton Gardens, where the staff work incredibly hard to make sure each and every wedding is the best it can be.
I spent the last day of 2012 with Greg & Summer's lovely friends and family doing what I love doing, what a brilliant way to end the year!
Congratulations to you both and thank you for having me along to capture your special day
.

Many thanks also to my second shooter, the talented Bambi Wixon. Images from Bambi included in this blog post are the detail shots and Summer walking down the aisle with her father.

A Noosa Elopement Wedding | Sunshine Coast Wedding photographers

Charmaine & Noel got married in a very intimate wedding ceremony at Access 14 on Noosa Main Beach. The witnesses were a couple of people who happened to be on holiday and relaxing on the beach but they too were swept up by the love affair that was clear to see.

Thank you for allowing me to capture the special moments, it was a real privelege and congratulations to you both.

Sunshine Coast Maleny and Montville Wedding Photographers

Adelaide and Keith got married at Flaxton Gardens on one fabulous day late in 2012. I knew this was going to be a fun day having met and photographed the two of them for their engagement shoot here.
The detail and planning that goes into weddings is huge, but these guys took it that bit further with little bits and pieces everywhere you looked.
I was blessed in 2012 with photographing so many cool and fun weddings and this one was no exception.
Thank you Adelaide and Keith for having capture your special day with your wonderful friends and families.
Congratulations to you both, I wish you health and happiness forever!
