Just a beautiful wedding with some awesome human beings! Marnie-Ann and Ryan were married at Spicers Clovelly in Montville here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast surrounded by the love of their friends and family. It was pure joy and I was so lucky to be there to capture it all for them. To Marnie-Ann & Ryan congratulations and I wish you much continued love and laughter x Amazing vendors included: Mondo Florals Bec Kesby Celebant, Rolling Scissors Hair, Melina Dee Makeup & Cut a Rug DJs
These guys chose Maleny for a good reason - for the beautiful scenery and vistas that come with this Sunshine Coast Hinterland region. Well on the day I can tell there was a hint of initial disappointment from Fran & Brent when we were enveloped in a blanket of cloud and fog and the odd rainy moment. As a photographer it was like a wonderland! The mist & fog created scenery like no other and these guys took it in their stride (check out the bottom of Fran's dress!) and embraced what was thrown at them. The ceremony was in the cloud, the landscape was in the clouds BUT for one brief 5 minute spell at sunset this something amazing happened - the clouds inexplicably disappeared to provide us with a backdrop that was just from heaven, then just as quickly the fog rolled back in for the rest of the day. The splash of orange in the bouquets and boys outfits were just perfect as they popped out of the greyness, the stunning florals by Willow Bud were the perfect oasis in the mist. All the hard work setting up the day at the beautiful Half Moon Hideaway just made this a wedding to remember. Even the officiant Father Chukwudy sang these two a love song as part of their wedding ceremony! Hair by the recently voted QLD No. 1 Evelyn Parsons, makeup by Natalie Hunter, catering by the Canape Project. To Fran and Brent - thank you for having me there and trusting me to capture the story of your day, I wish you much continued happiness and good health x
Old Dairy Maleny & The Ebb Restaurant wedding photographers...
Leigh and Claire had organied and styled a beautiful Maleny wedding at the The Old Dairy with the stunning Sunshine Coast hinterland as the backdrop. All the details were meticulously taken care of - from the impressive list of wedding vendors down to the 400 or so hand made blue hearts at the ceremony. Leigh got ready at his parent's houes and Claire at her parents' house meaning that even they were personal to them aswell. To Leigh & Claire - I wish you both much continued happiness and love and I thank you for having me there to capture it for you xxx
The suppliers who helped along the way are: Sally Thownsend makeup, Coastal Style Mobile Hairdressing, Stephanie Leigh Ceremonies, The Old Dairy Maleny, Mondo Floral Designs, Reimcakes, The Ebb Restaurant and dressmakers When Freddie Met Lilly.
Yandina Station Wedding Photographers / Sunshine Coast...
Anna and Shane got married at Yandina Station under the fig tree on a beautiful warm winters' day. I often say no two weddings are the same and even though I've photographed several weddings at Yandina Station (an amazing venue, I mean just scroll down - who wouldn't want to get married there!) - even so it's the people that make the wedding. In this case Anna's from Colorado and Shane's from here in Australia and it was just lovely to see the genuine warmth between everyone and especially towards the couple themselves. And with a top drawer list of suppliers their day went beautfully smooth...these are just some of my fave images and moments from the day - check out David's (Anna's dad) reaction to seeing his daughter in her dress, the gorgeous colours in the bouquets and table decs, their dog straining at the leash to get to Anna.... To Anna & Shane - thank you so much for having me there, it was a real pleasure capturing your day. I wish you both much continued love and laughter and good health x The beautiful flowers were by Heavenly Blooms, the celebrant was Griff Gordon, hair was by Jessica Little (make-up by Anna's aunt)
A beautiful day for an awesome couple...Amanda & Chris got married in beautiful Maleny on a stunning autumn day and then onto Flaxton Gardens for their reception. They said their vows at the Little White Wedding Church and were married by celebrant Jarrad Bayliss. It was awesome being a part of their day - I know it's my job, but to witness love and joy like this is just the best! The girls got ready at Flaxton Grove while the boys were at the Pottery House. With makeup by Sue McLaurin and flowers by Francesca they had arranged a perfect bunch of professionals to help their day run smoothly! To Amanda & Chris I wish you much continued love and laughter!
Another perfect Montville and Maleny wedding for Leah and Ian who got married at the beautiful Secrets On The Lake in Montville. Both Leah and her bridesmaids and ian and the boys got ready at secrets before heading down to the deck to exchange vows and tie the knot. I loved photographing this wedding - there was heaps of cool moments, below are a few key moments and some of faves including Ian saving his Leah from the bug during the ceremony; the awesome storm clouds that gathered and then opened; Leah & Ian heading for cover not letting the rain dampen their spirits; the cake cutting with the ceremonial sword and to finish an awesome sparkler send-off. Ceremony was by Jay Flood, flowers by Poppy Lane, decorating by Circle of Love and videography of the day was by Unveil Films. Thank you soo much Leah & Ian for having us along to capture your day - we had a blast and wish you both continued laughter and love x
Some serious pretty happened during Amanda and Chris' engagement session here on the Sunshine Coast. These two lovebirds are saying their vows in May in Maleny and then onto Flaxton Gardens for the reception and because they're going to have a heap of beautiful countryside wedding photos we had the engagement shoot down on the beach - I can't wait to photograph their day!
