I caught up with Annalisa & Peter a little while ago just before the pandemic restrictions started in earnest. These two had an amazing Noosa wedding planned with Annalisa's family coming over to Australia from Italy to witness and celebrate, but sadly they had to change their plans for 2020. At the time of the shoot none of this was even a consideration and they just had a lot of fun and their love and connection was so apparent it was a joy to capture. I can't wait for their wedding to happen and be a part of it however it is x
Married at Yandina Station, one of the best (and one of my favourite!) wedding venues here on the Sunshine Coast! To Nat & Tom I thank you for having me there and wish you much continued love, laughter and happiness.
Jamie & Fraser chose the beautiful Twin Waters Novotel here on the Sunshine Coast for their wedding. With getting ready, the ceremony and the reception all in the one place it made for a beautiful day with just a few photos at the nearby beach and woods for a detour. To Jamie & Fraser - thank you for having me there to capture it all for you. I wish you much continued health and happiness x Other suppliers for their day were Jay Flood celebrant, Willow Bud Flowers, Evalyn Parsons Hair, Makeup By Lyne Jana.
Hidden Grove Ceremony & Sails Reception, Noosa Wedding
These 2 had the best of everything for their wedding and it was such a stunning day (sandwiched between some wet days here on the Sunshine Coast I can tell you!). An international flavour to the day with a lot of guests coming from Kyah's homeland across the ocean in the USA. And I have to say Kyah's 'joie de vivre' was infectious and it was easy to see why these two were much loved - check out the images below, I'll bet you can't help but smile along with Kyah :) For starters they had a total of 14 in their bridal party and while it's probably on the limit I would say they made it pretty much a party and celebration from the get go! The wedding ceremony was at Hidden grove with celebrant Trudy McGee, amazing styling and florals by First Class Functions. Transported here and there by Scott and the cool Old Skool Kombi. Then onto one of Noosa's finest places for the reception - Sails Restaurant, immaculately run by Steff and the staff there. To Kyah & Tom - thank you sooo much for having me there and I wish you both much continued happiness and good health x Other suppliers for the day were: Makeup - Kate Ellen Makeup Artistry Hair - Evalyn Parsons, Cake by Raw & Peace & the day was expertly captured by Sunshine Coast videography :)
I love a backyard or DIY wedding and Eliza & Tim's stunning wedding was exactly why. They got married on Eliza's parents' property in Doonan on New Years Eve on a scorching day and the whole day was just fun and relaxed - just the way it should be... My thanks to everyone for making me feel like part of the family...x
Noosa main Beach, Casuarina Gardens wedding photography
Jade & Igor chose the newly opened up Casuarina Gardens (they chopped a tree down for a better outlook) with the stunning view of Noosa Main Beach for their wedding. I loved the happiness of this day, the joy, the love and the carefree and relaxed nature - typical of a Sunshine Coast wedding. They wanted their wedding photography and images to reflect this and being as that is what I'm all about, it was perfect for me and I had a blast with these guys. These are just a few of the images to give a snapshot of their day. Flowers & decorating by First Class Functions To Jade & Igor - congratulations and I wish you much continued happiness, love and laughter x
Spicers Clovelly Montville stunning wedding of Sherren & Stewart, bridal party photos at the iconic One Tree Hill, Maleny. Another beautioful wedding here on the Sunshine Coast at one of my favourite places....
Zoe and Daniel chose Noosa Beach Access 12 for their ceremony for a good reason - it's further down the beach than all the other wedding ceremony spots and therefore a little more private as it's away from alot of the beach goers. With the ever relaxed Jay Flood as the celebrant it was the perfect Noosa and Sunshine Coast wedding as shoes were optional with most people opting for thongs. These guys wanted their bridal party photos on the beach in my usual relaxed laid back style before heading to Gympie Terrace so we had alot of fun messing around. Then onto the awesome Noosa Boathouse Restaurant for their celebrations. It was a real pleasure being a part of Zoe and Daniel's wedding - they chose the perfect destination and Noosa didn't disappoint. Congratulations guys - I wish you much continued love and laughter x
Sunshine Coast and Twin Waters wedding photography....
Luci and Elliott were married at the Novotel Twin Waters on their beautiful Pandanus Lawn. What I've posted here represents such a small selection of a story that is one of an amazing wedding day with storm rains and laughter all day - what I'd like to say is that these are just some of my faves of such a fun day. Luci & Elliott were awesome in the way they truly embraced their wedding day as a celebration and yeah you get the beautiful images of them together that they have on their walls, but also some of these are the inbetween moments that I think are the real reminders of how their day was x Oh by the way - second photo down is the groomsman fishing the marriage certificate out of the water before the ceremony!
Mick and Therese's wedding was at the Sunshine Coast hinterland's Flaxton Gardens - set amongst the beautiful scenery of Maleny and Maleny. It was such a pleasure capturing their day surrounded by family and close friends - these are just a few of my favourite moments from an awesome day. To Mick & Therese - thank you for having us along, I wish you much continued happiness and good health x
So this is Candice and Matt who got married in Noosa at the newly named Peppers Resort (formerly Outrigger) they must've known it was going to rain as they had booked an undercover ceremony spot from the start :) Their wedding party included 3 young page boys and 3 young flower girls and let me tell you some of them partied hard and longer than some of the adults - some great moments from the day, especially at the reception with the rose petals that were laid neatly on the floor in the initials of Candice & Matt. These are but a small number of my fave images from the day.. To Candice & Matt - thank you so much for having myself and Stan along for the day, we had a blast hanging out with you all. We wish you much continued happiness and good health x Make-up by Natalie Hunter, hair by Bec Dencher, Celebrant Jay Flood, Kombi from Old Skool Kombis.
Kellie & Sam came all the way from Toowoomba to the Sunshine Coast for their beautiful wedding and I was lucky enough to be the one who captured heaps of special moments for them. Now it's always difficult with these blog posts to know which images to put in and which to leave out - do I post the special moments that I know will mean alot to Kellie and Sam (the mum and dad helping Sam do his tie, Kellie's mum doing the buttons on her dress - the hug with grandpa after the ceremony), the family shots which are soo important and will become even more so as the years go by, do I put in heaps of detail shots, do I post scenery shots to set the scene etc etc? If I put in everything the blog post would be several hundred images long....so in this case I have posted a mixture of some of my fave shots from Kellie and Sam's awesome day. To Kellie & Sam - thank you for having me there, it was a real pleasure and I wish you much continued love, happiness and good health xx
